RyuKan is a martial art training center for learning Karate, and Aikite.
Karate: We train in Ryukyu Karate / Ryukyu Te: We teach the “Te” (Hand or Self-defense Techniques) of the classical Okinawan Karate Kata. Through the study of Kata and traditional training methods we teach techniques that are practical and immediately applicable to real-life situations. This is true combat Karate. Traditional Ryukyu Karate / Te is not sport karate. Ryukyu Karate / Te is a very effective self defense martial art. The techniques of Ryukyu Karate / Te cause serious injury or even death.
Aikite: Aikite is whole body wellness system that is based on martial art movements. The practice of Aikite strengthens the Mind, Body and Spirit. Because Aikite can be performed by all ages, it is extremely beneficial for those over 60 years of age. Although Aikite looks like a blend of Tai Chi, Karate and Aikido, Aikite is unique in it free flowing movements, while stressing proper breathing and concentration. Because Aikite is based on martial art movements, it is a highly effective self-defense system. Aikite can be performed anywhere. Benefits of Aikite training:
